Ramadan Campaign in Support of CHEO

Assalamualaikum my dear friends and family,

It is my hope that you are happy, healthy, and living your very best life. There are so many families, right here in Ottawa, who are not as fortunate, that are struggling with sick or injured children and the only place they can turn to is CHEO – our local Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Perhaps you’ve heard in the news that CHEO’s Emergency Department is busier than ever? And who among us hasn’t been to CHEO over the years with our own children and benefitted from the amazing care that these dedicated health professionals provide.

With that said, I want all of my friends and family to know that CHEO is continuing to do their very best to accommodate every family who arrives at their doors, whether its for urgent care through the Emergency Department, or for less urgent programs and services that help with a child’s overall physical and mental health well-being.

In order to continue providing the very best care, CHEO needs community support – they need us – and they need you too! Therefore, I have answered the call and donated $25,000 to CHEO and I am asking all of my family and friends to consider making their own donation to CHEO this year as well. 

Not only is CHEO busier, but patients arriving are sicker. The pressures they are facing right now are unprecedented. Never in their 48-year history have they experienced a sustained surge like they have over the last six months. This hospital has done so much, for so many of us, that it is our moral responsibility to give back and help support the hospital so that they can continue to provide world-class care for the Ottawa community.
