MountainGoat Yoga

We are participating in the 24HR Yogapalooza Event to raise money for CHEO in support of kids with cancer this September. Please consider donating to our team under the Mountaingoat Yoga team name. 

CHEO works hard to develop new ways to treat and support childhood cancers, but they can't do it alone.

This year, the 'C' word is very personal. Many of you know that my son Jason was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. 

Cancer is now part of his journey.  At the young age of 25, he has the most positive attitude and he has so much gratitude. He is grateful that he isn't a child having to go through this, and that he lives in a Country that has the best facilities in the world to treat cancer. He's grateful for all the wonderful support and encouragement from his community. He may not be a patient of CHEO, but he understands the many layers of care at all the Ottawa Hospitals and all the individuals in the healthcare environment who give them hope and who support them in their journey. 

This year, MountainGoat Yoga's face of cancer is Jason.
