Helping the kids at CHEO

It’s that time again! Every year our family asks you for money; we only ask once and it’s for a good cause. 

The reason behind our ask is simple, the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) saved our nephew Liam’s life, and when we lost my sister Casey it was her request that we direct our efforts to helping CHEO save other people’s kids too.

CHEO turns your dollars into lifesaving treatments that save the lives of babies and children like Liam…if you can believe it his treatment cost more than $5,000 a day and he was in the intensive care unit for 100+ days.   

We promise, this is the one and only charitable ask we make every year. As we all get ready to celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, the New Year and the blessings we have received can we suggest you buy yourself the joy of helping out kids in desperate need (and snag a tax receipt for your efforts). 

It means the world to our family that you tolerate our annual appeal and give so generously. I hope we get to thank you and celebrate the good things in life in 2025.
