The 4th Annual Chris Messina Golf Classic will take place on Saturday August 16, 2025 at the Meadows Golf and Country Club. This page is set up for donations. A tax receipt will automatically be emailed to every donor.

We host The Chris Messina Golf Classic golf tournament in memory of our dear son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle Christopher Michael Messina to:
1. Be with family and friends around his date of death and celebrate his life by playing a game of golf, a sport he LOVED; and
2. Give back to CHEO for the support and care they provided to Chris and our family for 18 years. Specifically, we want to raise funds to help enable the Cardiology Department to continue their remarkable work.
When we first brought Chris to CHEO with symptoms of an unfamiliar but dangerous heart related condition, they gave us hope. Throughout his young life, Chris and our family were provided with kindness and unconditional support. Our family has seen, first-hand, the incredible results that can be achieved with adequate funding for research, amazing talent, state-of-the-art equipment, and cutting-edge technology.
