Life is not always easy. If I had to guess at the meaning of life, it would have something to do with love, and taking care of each other. Our family and our friends bring us the greatest joy; with their love, encouragement, support and guidance. Prior to the pandemic, we were fortunate to have a vibrant life highlighted by family vacations and dining with friends. We look forward to a future where that is possible again.
We are grateful for the health of our three children, and thankful to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) for helping us access medical resources. The CHEO staff are dedicated professionals who genuinely care about the well-being of their patients.
Though it is trite, health is the most important thing we have.
In honour of all those who are helping to get us collectively out of this pandemic by dutifully following public health rules and who have been strictly isolating (as our family did), and the children who are suffering mental health consequences, please donate to our family's fundraiser to CHEO mental health services.
