A personal campaign sponsored by Dan Lajoie

Support Me

My daughter, Erin, was diagnosed with JIA when she was 18 months old. Thanks to ongoing treatment and the love and care of the medical team at CHEO, Erin is in remission. This fundraiser is an opportunity to give back and help support other families in need.

On Sunday, November 4th, Crush Improv will be hosting their annual fundraiser to help raise awareness and money for CHEO's Rheumatology Clinic. Crush will be performing and guests will also have an opportunity to win some amazing prizes through our auction and raffle.

We would love it if your organization could help us raise money by donating a good or service that we could auction off. Anything, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.

Many people think that arthritis is something only old people get. Children and teenagers get a type of arthritis called juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), which can be incredibly painful and if not treated properly can lead to permanent joint damage. Currently 1 in 1000 Canadian children, under the age of 16 suffer from this disease and as of yet there is no cure. Over the last several years incredible advancements have been made in treating children with the disease and we hope to help out by raising money to support these efforts and CHEO’s rheumatology clinic specifically.

The event will be held at the Mill Street Brew Pub,  The show will run from 7pm to 9pm and will feature recent Canadian Comedy winners Crush Improv.

All proceeds from the show will go to CHEO's Rheumatology Clinic.
