When I am on my yoga mat, I am immersed into myself. My body, my heart and my mind become one. I am renewed in each moment. I love to share this experience with my students in a way that is intuitive and meaningful. I enjoy the rhythm of breath married with movement that is safe and modifiable for all levels. I first came to yoga as a very un-flexible cross country runner working a full time corporate job and juggling a busy family. Due to a serious knee injury, I started to truly understand the physical healing benefits of yoga, but was deeply moved by the stress release it also provided me. The rest was history. I am now a 200 Hour ERYT and YACEP yoga teacher and trainer, teaching primarily out of Hamsa Yoga in Carleton Place. I offer Yin, Restorative and Warm Flow yoga classes, fitness coaching, various workshops and immersive trainings.
